John Kirkby Well, this week’s blog happens to be a Royal blog! Last Thursday, we were at Salford Lad’s Club after The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall asked to meet CAP. We were really excited to be given 15 minutes to share the work of CAP with them, including some clients who came to share their testimonies about the help they have received. They were both extremely warm and friendly and I was able to give them both a copy of ‘Nevertheless’ and I also passed an extra copy to Prince Charles to give to the Queen! After the meeting, we didn’t really know what to do in the afternoon – after all, how do you spend an afternoon that follows meeting a future king! John |
