  CLIENT STREAM

If you would love to receive experience in a management environment, and would benefit from offering direct support to the people we help, then the client stream could be for you.

Working in areas such as our centralised Client Support Unit, and liasing with the credit industry, you will be communicating with clients and directly seeing lives being transformed throughout the year – these are very rewarding placements.

  COMMUNICATIONS STREAM

The Communications Team are looking for vibrant people who are great at expressing God’s heart for the poor through a variety of methods. Are you gifted in writing, multimedia design, photography, film production, research or people skills? If so, this could be your place to shine!

CAP’s Communications Team works in four sections: PR, Research and Grants, Design and Supporter Relations. Each section plays a crucial role in increasing the level of awareness of CAP in the UK and internationally in order to gain financial support from individuals, churches and trust funds. The team’s main aim is to communicate the message of Christians Against Poverty and the difference our work makes in a way that inspires people to give and carry on giving.

Are you excited about the spiritual transformation taking place through the work of CAP? Would you like to be a part of that? We are looking for somebody who is passionate about sharing God’s love with the needy in practical and life-transforming ways.

The main focus of your work will be in organising our fun-packed and God-blessed client breaks where we give short holidays to some of our most disadvantaged families. This is an extremely rewarding and faith-enriching role.

Applicants should be creative, organised, client-focussed, great communicators and committed team players. You will love it!

  IT STREAM

If you are interested in developing and gaining experience in IT for a future career, then this stream is relevant to you. No specific qualifications are needed as training will be given by a fully qualified MCSE technician throughout the year.

The IT department supports the charity by resolving any IT problems, maintaining its server, website, networks, and phone systems, and managing the IT and PA for our conferences. There will be opportunities to work in and learn about all of these areas. CAP will also provide the resources to complete the qualification: MCDST.
