Our latest awards

The outstanding quality of our debt counselling service continues to be recognised, as CAP was named Debt Advice Provider of the Year at the recent Collections and Customer Service Awards 2015. This award follows on from our success at the Sunday Times Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For 2015, which saw Matt and John take home the Best Leader award once again, and CAP ranked second overall. That's five out of six wins for Matt and John! Over our last six entries, we've never dipped below third place, making us the best performer at the awards over the last decade.

These latest accolades build on a glut of awards in 2013 and 2014, with CAP winning the Martin Williams Award for Contribution to the Credit Industry – Company at the Credit Today Awards 2014 and our website winning Best Christian Organisation Website 2014 at the Christian New Media Awards 2014.

In 2013, CAP was Winner of the Contribution to the Credit Industry Award 2013 at the CCR Credit Excellence Awards. In addition our Insolvency Department was proud to be named as Insolvency Team of the Year 2013 at the Insolvency and Rescue Awards.

  • Winner - Mark Cowley, Insolvency Manager of the Year

    TRI Awards 2016
(formerly known as the Insolvency & Rescue Awards)

CAP has scooped another national award – this time for our Insolvency team.

Mark Cowley, who heads up our dedicated staff in this area, won the title of Insolvency Manager of the Year in the TRI Awards 2016 (formerly known as the Insolvency & Rescue Awards). Mark was honoured, alongside members of CAP’s dedicated insolvency team, at a glittering ceremony at the Hilton Park Hotel in London, thanks to support from a judging panel of industry experts.

He said, ‘We’re so excited and encouraged to have won this award. It’s great to see the hard work of all the team at Christians Against Poverty being recognised, including our efforts to find and provide the best solution for our clients to get out of debt. We’re also so pleased the consultation work we have been doing within the wider insolvency sector has been noted, which helps improve things beyond just our own client base.'

  • Winner - Debt Advice Provider of the Year

Collections and Customer Service Awards 2015

It's official, the above and beyond service we offer to clients has been recognised at a Credit Today event. This award has added to other industry recognition, and we are proud to recognise the consistent hard work of our staff to serve all our clients with the upmost professionalism and care. Upon winning the award, the judges commented:

'Accessibility, breadth of engagement and long-term planning stood out to judges as the key strengths of this entry – Christians against Poverty is clearly looking at peoples’ lifelong financial health rather than patching up short term problems.'

And I think we would agree.
