We’ve reached a critical moment where an increasing number of vulnerable people in financial crisis are turning to us for help because their needs are complex, which require tens of hours of face-to-face support.

A key support issue is logged when a client requires additional support and awareness of the challenges they face. Examples include visual and hearing impairments and other accessibility limitations, limited literary skills and mental health challenges. Due to the face-to-face nature of CAP’s services, we are uniquely placed to support people with complex needs.
Amplify your impact
Research consistently demonstrates the extraordinary power of match funding. As highlighted in previous studies, supporters are significantly more likely to give, and to give more generously, when their contributions are matched.


Every pound you contribute will be added to our match fund pot, which we’re using in various appeals to encourage generosity, especially with potential supporters who are new to our work.
Measuring impact
We want to build on the success of last year’s summer appeal, where match funding boosted donations from £84,000 to nearly £350,000. We know this approach works and we are very grateful for the generous support of people like you last year to enable this.
