Reimagine job clubs, transform lives

Every year, millions of people in the UK remain trapped in long-term debt and poverty due to unemployment and low incomes. CAP’s job clubs have been a beacon of hope, but it’s time for innovation. With your support, we can reimagine and modernise our job club model, helping people find lasting employment, financial resilience and renewed dignity.

Your gift today will directly fund the future of employment solutions in local churches. Will you step in?

What are CAP job clubs?

Job clubs are free, friendly spaces that support people to find a job they love. It’s a safe space for people to encourage each other, and be guided by trained volunteers to achieve their workplace goals and connect with local employers.

Our new approach to job clubs

Our refreshed approach to job clubs will offer tailored job coaching, skills training, and direct employment connections, all while providing holistic support to overcome confidence barriers, navigate complex applications, and secure long-term sustainable work.

The new model will seamlessly integrate with CAP’s existing debt help, life skills, and money coaching services, creating a comprehensive financial transformation journey for the people we help. We’ll also build stronger partnerships with businesses, connecting churches with ethical employers and apprenticeship opportunities, ensuring a more supportive pathway to employment.

The true impact of job clubs

Your donation today is more than a financial gift: it’ll support more people like Sue and Tim to find jobs they love and encourage them along the way.

It was really helpful, because during that time I was working on my application with British Airways, and my mentor Jo helped me with CV sessions and practice interviews.

Through doing the job club, we have both made really good friends with others doing the course too.

Will you step in the gap?

CAP job clubs offer more than just’ job skills: they provide a sense of belonging, a supportive community, and the confidence to face the future with hope. Your generosity makes this possible.

By donating today and helping us modernise job clubs, you’re not just supporting a workshop, you’re investing in people’s futures.
