Help stop spiralling debt

Bare lightbulb fixture in a dark room
Rising prices caused by global instability hit us all. But what if you were already struggling to scrape by?

When you’re on the poverty line, just filling up the car or buying the weekly food shop is already tough. Add to that the recent news that energy bills are set to rise by 13% this year, and it’s the tipping point into a dangerous spiral of debt and despair.

People need your urgent support. Will you help pull someone out of debt today?

Your gift today provides professional debt advice alongside local, loving support – and helps transform people’s lives.

Without the church, without CAP, I don’t think I’d be here today.

Richard’s story

Recession hit Richard’s work as a builder. Then he couldn’t keep up with mortgage repayments. Before he knew it, Richard was sleeping on a park bench. He hit rock bottom

Even after Richard secured a council house, he couldn’t afford a chair or even a bed.

When Richard got in touch with CAP, the local church team immediately helped provide food and furniture. Then they sorted out Richard’s paperwork. Our expert debt team dealt with his finances.

Local Christians prayed with Richard, and he had a powerful experience of God’s love.

I couldn’t stop the tears flowing from my eyes. My life turned around – and I ain’t done it on my own. Jesus has been there for me. Now all I want to do is live!
