09 December 2013
As well as submitting our own response to the Financial Conduct Authority's consultation into payday lending regulations, we are proud to have added our name to a small coalition organised by Church Action on Poverty.
Along with five other representatives of the Church in the UK, Church Action on Poverty have sent a letter to Martin Wheatley, Chief Executive of the FCA, outlining our plea for specific regulations to be enforced. It is our hope, along with the others involved, that we can make a difference by speaking up for those who have no voice and are falling victim to the payday lending practices in our country.
