Gillingham Debt Centre Manager wins national award
29 November 2013
We're extremely proud of Hannah Gibbons, who manages our Gillingham CAP Debt Centre in Dorset. In a ceremony at the Palace of Westminster on 28 November, Hannah won the individual category at the 2013 Inspire Awards.
Her award was presented by shadow employment minister Stephen Timms MP, Evangelical Alliance general director Steve Clifford and Inspire magazine editor Russ Bravo. Stephen Timms MP said, 'Believing in Jesus inspires people to do wonderful things. You don’t have to be a believer to realise that. Believing in Jesus moves people on to not just think something is a good idea, but to act on it. The contributions we are celebrating this afternoon are examples not of a dying phenomenon, but a growing one.'
Hannah has been in her post since our Gillingham CAP Debt Centre (in partnership with Gillingham Community Church) opened its doors in 2008, helping over 400 people in the last five years.
It looks like it's the first time you've visited the CAP website.
