Policy and Government

That’s why we’re working tirelessly behind the scenes to shape and influence the policies that affect our clients. It means we get to speak on behalf of the vulnerable to the people with the power to change their lives. And our voice is growing louder.

Every other year we hold an open day for key contacts from the credit industry, regulators, other debt advisers and third sector. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase CAP’s full range of services and the difference they are making to thousands of peoples lives across the UK. This year 60 people joined us at our head office for the day. We were really encouraged by the repsonse of all who attended, many of whom were inspired to do more to help our clients and all in financial difficulty, and noted a particular highlight as hearing first hand about what life in debt is like from a couple of CAP clients who shared their personal experiences.
