Connect » Policy and government » CAP exhibit at Labour and Conservative Party conferences
05 October 2016
For the first time, CAP had an exhibition stand at both the Labour and Conservative Party conferences. We were able to meet with many MPs and councillors to discuss important topics such as financial exclusion and fuel poverty. The conferences proved to be an excellent opportunity to inform politicians about CAP’s great work in their constituency and to encourage MPs to support us. We had a great response and there was definite recognition for the need of our services across the nation. We were also able to meet key Ministers for Energy and the Department of Work and Pensions, amongst others.
