Christmas hampers – something small that means so much more

Christmas can be a tough time for those in financial difficulty. Many cannot afford a Christmas dinner or presents for their family. Tilly’s mum, Teresa, felt like a failure as she could only feed her family toast – with empty cupboards and bills piling up, she was dreading Christmas.

Here at CAP we want to support our clients in a variety of ways. One of which is by providing Christmas hampers alongside long-term support out of debt. Each year CAP gives hundreds of hampers to families across the United Kingdom – watch the joy these bring.

'The hampers made a really big difference. It's nice to know people do care and will do that for those in need — lovely, generous people who are willing to give. I've gone from feeling isolated and worthless, to feeling loved.'
Teresa, CAP Debt Help client

Last year, Paragon joined our initiative and made Christmas hampers for local CAP clients. John Davis said ‘this initiative strikes a real chord within our business as we provide support to those in similar situations on a daily basis. It is a great way to help a fantastic cause by doing that little bit extra to support those in need, with the hope that these hampers offer families some much needed relief and Christmas cheer over the festive period’.

There are two ways you can make a difference. Will you give a gift today to provide hampers to families in need this Christmas? Or get in touch to find out more about how your team can get involved in making Christmas hampers to give yourselves for local CAP clients.
