As part of our ongoing engagement with Northern Ireland’s Utility Regulator, CAP responded to their Proposed Consumer Protection Strategy 2015/16 - 2019/20. We are pleased that the Regulator is setting out to formalise and promote consumer protection and overall the strategy is an extremely positive step. However, we feel there are some areas where it does not go far enough, particularly with regard to affordability and equal access. Read CAP’s submission below:
