CALLS FOR DEBT HELP BREAK ALL RECORDS

The quantity of people calling for help with crisis personal debt so far in 2014 has broken all records, says a debt counselling charity.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) says their helpline, which books in new clients for a home visit, has seen the number of enquiries soar by more than half as many again*.

The quantity of people calling for help with their debts during the first full working week of the New Year has broken all records, say a debt counselling charity.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) says their helpline, which books new clients in for a home visit, has seen the number of enquiries rocket by 40 per cent on last year.
