Resources for churches

Empowering you and your church to effectively serve your community during this crisis.

Churches are responding to COVID-19 with generosity, creativity and compassion and we're committed to helping. Throughout this season we will be offering not only our own expertise in finance and supporting the vulnerable, but also providing guidance and signposting to other charities and organisations that we are currently working alongside who can offer other forms of specialist support.

Our hope is that we can use some of our expertise in working alongside the poor and marginalised for almost 25 years to equip you and your church, as you continue to offer the hope of Jesus in your communities.

Specialist Support Signposting

This crisis can affect people in many different ways and present a variety of challenges.

So we've gathered together a list of other amazing organisations providing specialist support for individuals and churches.

With information on available support changing frequently, we understand that it can feel overwhelming. So we will be providing clear updates throughout this crisis to help you better understand the help that could be provided to those on a low income in your community.

Church Leader Resources

These resources are designed to share knowledge and experience that can help those in your church and community during this crisis.

Here you can also access a recent webinar series hosted by our friends at Gather. These feature specialists and unity leaders from various sectors sharing their wisdom on how the church can implement urgent strategies to support their towns and cities during and after the COVID-19 crisis.

Pathways out of Poverty

This resource is part of Pathways out of poverty, a wider project looking at equipping churches and individuals to serve their communities and empower those experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances. Please look out for more information coming soon.

We've made this document customisable so you can add relevant local information too. Please open the document in Adobe Reader (available for free here) to edit the blue text boxes.
