Kevin's journey with CAP

We're so glad you were inspired by Kevin's story on our advert, here's a bit more of his story. Kevin (pictured) became overwhelmed by debt after his wife fell ill. Then he was in a motorbike accident. The stress and worry caused his mental health to deteriorate, and he had a breakdown.

Then Kevin's local mental health team signposted him to CAP.

Tony (CAP Debt Coach) and Sandy (befriender) went round to meet Kevin. With kindness and compassion, they let Kevin know that he wasn't alone anymore, and that they'd walk with him through the process to becoming debt free.

‘The way I look at things is so different now. I've made changes in my life that I would never have had the courage to do before.’ – Kevin, now debt free.

Tony invited Kevin to church, and he was welcomed in by a non-judgmental, down-to earth church community. Finding faith in Jesus has changed the direction of his life completely.
