Transforming lives across Scotland and beyond

'My journey with CAP has been phenomenal. It’s given me a whole new lease of life.' – Ron, from Irvine

Who we are

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a national charity dedicated to empowering people like Ron to get out of debt and poverty. Our free services, run with local churches, provide practical and emotional support for those in Scotland, Wales, England and NI.

CAP offers free, professional debt help through local church-based Debt Centres, supporting every service user throughout their debt free journey and beyond.

Our local community (CAP Job Clubs and Life Skills) offer a supportive environment and equip you to budget, make your money go further, build your confidence, find a job and more. We also offer the CAP Money Course for those wanting to learn budgeting and money management skills.

Our vision is to see transformed lives, thriving churches, and an end to UK poverty. It's a big vision, but one we believe is possible if we are all in it together.
