Why should I apply?
Serving on team means you’re representing CAP and all we stand for at one (or two) of the biggest Christian festivals in the UK. As part of a team of passionate volunteers, you’re going to have an amazing time whilst helping us stir up support in a friendly and relaxed environment.
You’ll also have plenty of time to attend some of the sessions, receiving world class teaching and sharing in incredible worship. On top of that, being part of a team means meeting some pretty great people and making a ‘latte’ of new friends.
If you join the CAP Café team, we’ll take care of:
- Meals and drinks: we’ll provide food and drinks for you each day, keeping you hydrated and full of energy.
- Free access to the event: if you’re volunteering with us, entry is completely free of charge.
- A dedicated camping area: we have a camping area especially for our CAP Café team so you can continue building relationships and having fun when you’re not busy serving (although you’re welcome to camp with family, friends or your church group if you’d prefer).
- Training: you’ll receive all the training you need for your role.
What would a typical day look like?
Because we want you to have the best experience, we’ve split each day into 2-3 hour shifts, meaning you’ll have plenty of time to relax, refresh and enjoy the event as well as getting the most out of your café experience
Big Church Day Out: 3 x 2 hour shifts each day over the weekend.
New Wine: 2 x 2-3 hour shifts each day throughout the week.
You’ll get to choose a role such as taking orders, making great coffee, pouring tea, keeping an eye on stock or handling payments – and we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
