Northern Ireland Partnership Manager (based in Belfast) - 12 month contract - Network Management

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (flexible)

Context: We are committed to empowering the local church and therefore we invest in the support required for a church to run a CAP service well. We are focused on providing excellent tools so our frontline workers can provide the best possible service to all we help. This includes helping to raise the profile of CAP in Northern Ireland.We have responsibility to strategically engage with churches across Northern Ireland to inspire and persuade them to tackle debt, poverty and its causes by opening one of our key ministry projects.

Role: Reporting to the National Director – Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, this role is responsible for building and developing relationships with local media, referral agencies, Christian organisations, Northern Irish Government and other external organisations to raise CAP’s profile, create media opportunities, partnership arrangements and increase Church and Christian engagement with CAP.A key part of this role is to engage, build and develop relationships with churches, generating initial enquiries and working with them through to CAP services opening.This role is varied and will include a wide range of activities including social media, press, creating written copy, public speaking and attending and organising events. In collaboration with others, they will seek out and create opportunities to share information and good news stories regarding the work of CAP in Northern Ireland.

Starting salary: £25,079 per annum pro rata

Travel will be expected across Northern Ireland - travel to and training in Bradford head office will happen across the year.
