Promotion & Engagement Manager (Scotland) - based in Edinburgh (2 year contract) - Network Management

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (flexible but Tues - Thurs preferred)

Context: We are committed to empowering the local church and therefore we invest in the support required for a church to run a CAP service well. We support and manage the network of centres, as well as being involved in recruiting and training centre staff to ensure our centres are successful in achieving our strategic objectives. We are focused on providing excellent tools so our frontline workers can provide the best possible service to all we help. This includes helping to raise the profile of CAP in Scotland.

Role: Reporting to the Head of Scotland, this role is responsible for building and developing relationships with local media, referral agencies, Christian organisations, Scottish Government and other external organisations to raise CAP’s profile, create media opportunities, partnership arrangements and increase Church and Christian engagement with CAP.This will include a range of activities including social media, press, creating written copy, public speaking and attending and organising events. In collaboration with others, they will seek out and create opportunities to share information and good news stories regarding the work of CAP in Scotland.

Starting salary: £25,079 per annum pro rata

Travel will be expected across Scotland - travel to and training in Bradford head office will happen across the year. There will be an initial training period of 2 weeks in Bradford.
