Supporter Events and Connection Team Manager

The Fundraising & Supporter Operations department aims to care, connect and inspire individuals and churches through engaging events, supporter appreciation, inspiring phone calls, and insightful data work. We support and drive projects from the wider Fundraising and Communication division because we are passionate that individuals give or keep on giving and that churches are compelled to partner with CAP. The Fundraising & Supporter Operations department is made up of the Supporter Events team, Supporter Care team, Supporter Connection team, and Supporter Insight & Data team.

The role

The Supporter Events & Connection Manager oversees the Supporter Events team and a subset of the Supporter Connection Team. With a belief that top quality events organisation can make or break an attendee’s experience, you’ll lead the Supporter Events team as they deliver every event required by the Fundraising and Communication division.Alongside the Supporter Connection Team Manager you will also lead some of our Supporter Connection Team as they undertake calling projects from the wider Fundraising and Communication division. They conduct primarily outbound telephone communications with a wide range of individuals and churches, inspiring them to engage financially or practically in the work of CAP.

Who we're looking for

You’re driven by well-organised, well-run events and efficient administration. You get a buzz from successful events and love all the tiny details of making all sorts of events work. You are motivated by driving targets, hitting goals and inspiring the team to maximise what they can achieve each day, communicating CAP’s vision in creative ways on the phone. We want to inspire and get to know our supporters and churches and to understand what makes them tick. We are driven by working together to efficiently meet our deadlines and targets, having a keen eye for detail, and wanting to communicate and show appreciation to our supporters and stakeholders well.

Bradford head office with some home working available
