Reach Your Potential

One and a half days a week will be dedicated to training and your development . You’ll have the chance to learn about leadership and management from our experienced staff, whilst developing your own skills and strengths.

Reach to God

You will have the opportunity each week to reflect, learn about yourself, learn new skills and grow in your Christian faith, while developing an understanding of God's desire to help the poor and needy.

Reach Those in Need

The work you do as a Reach intern has a real and transforming impact on the lives of people in need.

Streams

When you're not in training and development, you will work within one of the charity's departments where you will apply what you've learnt. You’ll utilise your skills and be of great value to CAP. We will work with you to place you in the most suitable area.

Funding

As a Reach intern you will be employed for the hours you work in your department and paid a basic salary for this time. As part of the challenge of the internship Reach Interns are also expected to fundraise £3,000 for CAP, either before or during the year. Help and support is provided for this.

Accommodation

Christians Against Poverty has a number of houses for Reach interns to share, if they choose. A reasonable rent will be deducted from your salary to cover the cost. If you are accepted, we will discuss your accommodation options with you in greater depth.

How to apply

Return your application form to: Reach Internship, Christians Against Poverty, Jubilee Mill, North Street, Bradford, BD1 4EW.
