Our work is founded on prayer; as a charity we have time set aside in our working day for it and we acknowledge that we can do no worthy thing without God on board.
We would love you to join us in prayer – this page will be regularly updated with situations that need prayer. You can also receive our quarterly prayer diary though the post or receive weekly text alerts with a client's prayer need.
Thank you for supporting our work and vision through your prayers and faithfulness.

World Suicide Prevention Day
10 September 2013
Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. Before contacting CAP, one in three of our clients considered or attempted suicide. Today, we ask you to pray for restored hope and peace for all our clients – past, present and future. Pray that they will have the courage to take the first step in tackling their debts.
Church Partnership Day
09 September 2013
We have the chance to share the vision of CAP with churches tomorrow! Please pray for the speakers, that the churches will be inspired by the day and will be keen to get involved with our work.

One of our clients is a recovering alcoholic. Although she has not had a drink for seven months, she is currently feeling very stressed with her situation. Pray for continued strength and support for her and her family.
Testing new faith
06 September 2013
One of our clients was recently knocked off her mobility scooter and has a broken left arm and both hips, but thankfully stable in hospital. She recently chose to become a Christian and her faith seems to be strong – pray for healing and blessing in her life. Also, for our teams at head office as they try and deal with her debts in this complicated situation.
Summer client breaks update

What a summer of back-to-back client breaks we've had! We were able to take away 329 adults and children over the last five weeks – some of them for their first family holiday! Praise God for his presence in all the conversations, fun and relaxation had.
