As we turn 25 years old, we are re-imagining our services and systems for the future! We want to be able to help many more people find hope, jobs and escape from problem debt. We want to improve our flexibility for church partners and increase client empowerment. The need for debt counselling is already great, but we expect the need to grow rapidly in the next few years. This means transforming our service design, processes and IT systems ready for the future, through a significant redevelopment and introducing new technologies. 


Our systems developers maintain and develop bespoke, internal web applications that support CAP’s frontline teams, head office and international offices. The work is fast-paced, taking on board best practice on our full-stack systems, such as continuous integration, automated testing and daily deployments. All with the aim of becoming better and better at providing the agile services that are needed by clients and churches.

You’ll have excellent skills in PHP 7.4 (or another object oriented language), MySQL, HTML, Javascript and CSS. You’ll be a strong team player, proactive, logical, able to analyse and solves problems well. You can balance the detail and the big picture, build great relationships and develop organisational awareness quickly.
