Step towards employment

Friendly, practical support to help you step confidently into employment.

Refer someone to CAP

Being unemployed can be hard to deal with on your own. Our 156 CAP Job Clubs allow jobseekers to face this challenge with other people in similar situations. They also receive practical and tailored support through one-to-one coaching and our eight session Steps to Employment course, which takes them through each step of the job hunting process; from identifying your strengths and skills, right through to writing a great CV and learning how to succeed in an interview, and one-to-one coaching. In addition CAP Job Clubs can also provide valuable opportunities to connect with local employers. Past members have said they found it useful hearing first hand from employers what they are looking for in a candidate, and some have even gone on to find work through these new contacts.

Every week, we are celebrating with people around the UK who are finding employment through our CAP Job Clubs. So far one in seven people that have attended a CAP Job Club have found employment.

All of CAP's services are completely free and available to all, regardless of faith, age, gender, race disability or sexual orientation. If you think you know someone who would benefit from attending a CAP Job Club please use the postcode search above to see if there's one running in their area and encourage them to phone our free phone number.

If you have any questions about CAP's service or would like to discuss establishing a national referrals partnership, please email or ring 01274 761911.
