Christians Against Poverty has been recognised in the UK Parliament through on Early Day Motion (EDM) celebrating the charity’s 30th anniversary and the impact it has made alongside local churches.

As we celebrate 30 years of Christians Against Poverty (CAP) releasing thousands of people from the crushing burden of debt, we are incredibly encouraged to see our mission recognised at the very heart of UK government. We are deeply grateful to the six Members of Parliament who have officially signed an Early Day Motion marking CAP’s 30th anniversary milestone.

This cross-party parliamentary recognition is a testament to three decades of tireless dedication from our staff, our church partners, and our supporters across the UK. Seeing our collective impact acknowledged by Westminster strengthens our resolve as we continue fighting poverty, restoring hope, and transforming lives for decades to come.
