Your church is a beacon of hope
Whether through prayer or practical support, your church is uniquely placed to show Jesus’ love to your community. Here are four practical ways you can begin partnering with CAP and turn compassion into tangible life-changing support.
Give as a church
Financial giving helps make CAP’s work possible, from free, practical support to long-term hope for people facing poverty. When churches give together, it enables services to continue.
Pray
Prayer is at the heart of everything we do. When churches pray, lives are transformed. We even offer free prayer journals and emails that you can pass on to your congregation.
Host a church talk
Book a CAP speaker and inspire your church to make a difference. Every talk includes real life stories, Bible teaching and a practical call to action, helping your congregation to share God’s love and see lives transformed in your community.
Take action
Across the UK, poverty is robbing millions of people of dignity and hope. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Together we can rebuild our society to provide an adequate safety net for any of us who need it.
And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
