Babies may be tiny, but the costs that come with these bundles of joy can be big. If you’re expecting a baby or have a little one at home, there are lots of baby freebies, samples and starter packs out there to help make your life with your newborn that little bit easier.

The best free baby stuff, samples and discounts in the UK

1. Boots Parenting Club

Baby freebie or discount: Pick up a free Aveeno baby product by loading the offer on the Boots app. You can also earn extra points on your baby essentials and unlock free gifts, such as breast pads, folic acid and a Tommee Tippee starter kit (subject to change).

2. Ella’s Kitchen

Baby freebie or discount: Get free goodies in the post with Ella’s Kitchen, including a weaning wall chart and money-off vouchers. You’ll also have access to downloadable guides and exclusive offers.

T&Cs: You’ll need to sign up to Ella’s Friends and add your address/​opt in to receive your free Ella’s Weaning Pack. Your baby must be under twelve months of age to be eligible. Offer is valid until 31 December 2027.

3. Emma’s Diary baby club

Baby freebie or discount: Free mini pregnancy and baby products plus a full pack of Pampers nappies. Become a baby club member on the website or via the app to receive your vouchers for your free pack. More information on how to claim can be found on Emma’s Diary’s website.

T&Cs: Offer limited to the UK only, and one per customer. Pack contents may vary and be available for a limited period only at the discretion of the supplier.

4. Pampers Club

Baby freebie or discount: Pampers’ loyalty programme lets you earn Pampers Points for every pack of nappies or wipes you buy. Scan the QR code on the inside of every nappies or wipes pack and trade in your points for coupons or Pampers nappies.

T&Cs: You’ll need to download the free Pampers Rewards app to begin earning points. You’ll earn one point for every nappy you purchase, so if you scan a code from a pack of 50 nappies, you’ll earn 50 points.

5. M&S parent hood

Baby freebie or discount: Get 10% off babygrows until your child turns two, plus monthly rewards with M&S parent hood. You can also join weekly parent and baby mornings at M&S cafés across the UK, and enjoy a free slice of cake, pastry or a fruit pot when you buy a hot drink. 

T&Cs: You’ll need to be a Sparks member to join parent hood, and adding your baby’s arrival date to get tailored content and offers. The free sweet treat is only available on Tuesdays, between 9.30–11.30am. 

6. ASDA café free baby food

Baby freebie or discount: Get free Ella’s baby food pouches in ASDA cafés to help save a bit of cash and make going out for a coffee that little bit easier.

T&Cs: The free Ella’s pouch is available for children under 18 months old, when you buy any other item from the café.

7. ASDA Baby and Toddler Hub

Baby freebie or discount: ASDA’s Baby and Toddler Club give you access to exclusive promotions, coupons and freebies across a range of baby and toddler products. 

T&Cs: You’ll need to download the free ASDA Rewards app and opt into the Baby and Toddler Club within the app. Baby and Toddler Club promotions are valid in store or when shopping online.

8. HiPP BabyClub

Baby freebie or discount: Although not a specific freebie, you can get a 10% discount on selected HiPP products, discounts on partner brands, monthly competitions and prizes, and free advice and guides from experts.

T&Cs: The HiPP BabyClub is open to pregnant women or those who have a child up to the age of 12 months. By signing up to the BabyClub, you may choose to receive information on organic follow on and growing up milks for babies over six months old.

9. Local council reusable nappy grants

Baby freebie or discount: Many councils offer vouchers or grants for reusable nappies as an incentive to reduce more nappies in landfill. Some councils offer free starter kits, vouchers, trial packs or cashback. Get in contact with your local council to see if they have any schemes available to you.

10. Your Baby Box

Baby freebie or discount: If you sign up to a Your Baby Box subscription, you’ll get your first box worth £80 for free (but you will need to pay the £11.99 delivery fee).

11. Amazon Baby Wishlist

Baby freebie or discount: The Amazon Baby Wishlist is a simple way to keep a list of everything you need for your new baby and share it with friends and family so they know what gifts to buy you. It also entitles you to a welcome gift and 15% discount. 

T&Cs: The 15% discount only applies to baby-related items (excludes nappies, formula and books) sold and dispatched by Amazon. You’ll have to add items to your wishlist and then add them to your basket in order to get the discount. The 15% discount is available on orders that have a combined value of up to £2,000, giving a maximum discount of £300. Only the person that created the wishlist can redeem the discount.
