Putting poverty on the agenda – everywhere

See where you’ve helped put poverty on the agenda across the UK.

Thank you!

Thank you for helping turn this map green. In the lead up to the general election, we asked you to write to your local candidates asking them key questions about poverty, and what they’re doing about it.

Together, we’ve started more than 5,700 conversations (across more than 460 constituencies) with candidates about poverty, and laid a foundation for us to follow up with those MPs after the election.

Poverty is a matter of public urgency and it demands a greater level of political priority – and you’ve helped push for that to become a reality. Thank you!

The map

This map shows the areas where people have written to their local candidates, asking them vital questions about their stance on poverty ahead of the June 2024 general election.
