Pray with us

‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.’

1 John 5:14

Why we pray

Up to 14.5 million people were living in poverty in the UK before the pandemic even started. Here at the Christians Against Poverty, we get to know the real people behind this statistic. People who can’t afford basic necessities like a cooker, a bed or even something as essential as food for their families.

Our Debt Help service and community support groups in 586 churches across the country are working hard to meet the needs of as many people as possible.

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do. It’s part of our culture. Every morning at head office we meet together to pray for those we serve, frontline staff and each other because we believe that God answers prayer.

Will you pray with us?
