On Shrove Tuesday (that’s 13 February 2018), churches and groups, families and friends across the country will be getting out their frying pans to host a Flipping Marvellous Pancake Party and raise money for CAP.

Why host a Flipping Marvellous Pancake Party?

Let’s not sugar coat it – poverty is real, with millions locked in its grip. That’s why we’re mixing things up to raise funds for CAP. Every pancake flipped and pound raised will help to free desperate people from the crushing weight of debt and poverty. (Clever pancakes, eh?) Together let’s go flat out to end UK poverty.

Hosting a pancake party is easy peasy lemon squeezy. You can do it at your church, in your house, at your workplace… as long as there’s a kitchen, you’ll be cooking on gas.

You can choose any date that works best for you, although we recommend making the most of Shrove Tuesday when everyone’s craving a crêpe!

We’ve put together a fun-filled resource pack to help you organise your event, including posters, invitations, collection box, photo props and more. There’s also a handy guide book to help make sure you’ve all the ingredients to whisk up a pancake party that’s flipping marvellous in every way. Fill in the form here and we’ll toss you a pack pronto.
