CAP responds to DWP’s Pathways to Work consultation

CAP has submitted its response to the Department for Work and Pensions’ Pathways to Work Green Paper. Drawing on nearly 30 years of frontline experience, we’ve called for a compassionate, person-centred welfare system that supports people into meaningful work without fear or coercion.

Our response highlights concerns around proposed changes to disability benefits, reduced support for young people, and the lack of consultation on whether such reforms should happen at all. We’re urging the Government to prioritise dignity, financial security and inclusive employment opportunities for all.
