Heavenly Father, I thank you for this special Christmas Eve. As I prepare for tomorrow and all the joy Christmas day will bring, I quietly reflect on your goodness for bringing Jesus to be born to save me and love me. Thank you for all you have done for me and for the people I hold dear. In the midst of the celebrations tomorrow, I place you front and centre, knowing that nothing would be possible without your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Christmas morning prayer
Good morning, God, thank you that Christmas is finally here! Thank you for this season of celebrating Jesus coming into the world to save us and give us joy in you. Lord as I prepare for the excitement and busyness that this day brings, help me remember how good you have been to me and my family. For providing us all we need to commemorate this significant day, I say thank you, God, for your faithfulness and loving kindness. I also remember those who find today difficult, and ask that you shower them with your grace and mercy so that they will know your love and care towards them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This Christmas, we want to encourage you to pray for CAP and lift up the voices of those who are living under the weight of debt and poverty, and call for the changes that are needed to free them.
