What is a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate?

A Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) is a candidate chosen by each political party to fight single Westminster constituencies ahead of a general election.

We’re asking you to
write to your local PPC ahead of the general election, asking them to prioritise tackling UK poverty.

What is CAP’s prayer diary?

CAP’s prayer diary is a invitation to pray for the work of CAP and those living in debt and poverty through daily prayer prompts, straight to your letterbox – or inbox!

We’re asking you to pray with us, knowing God is bigger than UK poverty and that he wants every one of us to be able to live life to the full.

What happens next?

After writing to your Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, all PPC emails will be held until every candidate has been confirmed, and we will let you know when we release them, all together, to the PPCs.

After signing up for the prayer diary, you’ll receive your printed copy of the next edition as soon as it comes out, or you’ll begin receiving our monthly prayer emails at the start of each month.
