CAP responded to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ending the Need for Food Bank’s call for evidence on exploring effective responses to crisis support. We drew attention to a number of ways in which crisis support can be optimised to ensure support is accessible, dignified and person-centred. Ultimately what is needed are upstream policies that lead to low levels of absolute and relative poverty, and therefore limit the need for crisis support in the first place.
